Recently I was browsing goo-net to see gems like the Isuzu Bellet 1600GTR ( !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ), when I found myself looking through classifieds starring the uncompareable !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

Kinja'd!!!

That is, essentially, a lifted wagon with 239 HP that was sold in different specifications as the Outlander in different markets and is now roughly 12+ years old. The car is alledgedly in rather good condition, but asks only 170000 yen (~1555$ today) and even as this is the lowest ofer, others rarely command more than 300000 yen. Or here’s a buisness sold !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! for 390000 yen.

How is that possible?

Because it’s remarkably easy to fail an inspection and have your car deemed unfit for public roads in Japan.

Thought so, thanks.

Read something about Tokyo houses recently, how they are worth nothing more than the ground they’re built on after 20 years
